"Thanks Dad for being you!"
Dad,

I want to say "Thank YOU!"  You were a wonderful father.  We had a wonderful childhood.  Thanks for all the great memories of our yearly family vacations to California at Tia Sally's and Tio Fidel's house, for all the great Camping trips to Woods Canyon, the wonderful picnics at Sueno Park and at South Mountain, the Saturday night BBQ's, thanks for taking us to Garcia's on our Birthday, for trips to Lake Pleasant, for taking us to the Drive-in when we were little kids, for building us our very own basketball court in front of our home for all the neighborhood kids to share with us, for going to Encanto Park at 3:00am with my Tio Raymond on Easter Sunday's so that we could have a party, thank you for taking us to Church every Sunday at Immaculate Heart of Mary, for blessing our cars and our homes from your heart, for making us crosses out of palms from a palm tree during lent season and for always smiling at us.  It was an honor to have you as our father.  You were always willing to talk to us, you never scolded us and you loved and accepted us for who we were as your children and as adults.  I miss you Dad, and our traditional Thanksgiving Dinners and those infamous Carnita nights that you started as a tradition on Sunday's, and you never forgot the "Pico De Gio"! (LOL)  I use to wonder why God took you our father.  But your life truly demonstrates what all humans believe.  They say God only takes the good and you were a Great Man

I love you Dad and I am grateful that God gave you to us to be our father, we are truly blessed.
This one is for you Dad!  "GO DALLAS COWBOYS"

"And God said........Love one another as I have loved you............."
Our father leaves behind many great memories.  I can only hope to live a life as great as his.  Tony Gonzales, was a kind soul.  He never wished bad upon anyone, and he was faithful to our lord.

My father was not afraid of death, he was honored to meet his maker.  I've told many that, I don't ever remember anything bad about my father.  He was always affectionate, he was always hugging us and pinching our cheeks.  I always will cherish his morning blessings. As a child each morning and each night our father came into our rooms and blessed us, he made the sign of the cross on our forehead and said a prayer.  I will always remember how each morning he was on his knees praying and each night he went to bed he prayed on his knees.

He never forgot to say, "God Bless you", no matter where you went.  He always reminded us to thank our Lord for everytime we achieved something, whether it be getting a new job, or a new car, or anything accomplishable.  He always reminded us to say "God Willing", anythime we planned ahead.  He was infamous for reminding people that we all were on this earth by the grace of God.  I think this was his way of saying, "God comes first before anything!"  Thanks Dad for always reminding us...
